Ridipta Welfare Foundation Expands Project KHEL at Government School in Jaipur
Ridipta Welfare Foundation expanded its Project KHEL initiative by developing a playground for students at a government school located in Lalkothi, Jaipur.
The available open area of the school had remained unused and was affected by accumulated waste and poor cleanliness, leaving children with very limited space for outdoor activities. Recognising the need for a safe and suitable play area, Ridipta Welfare Foundation took responsibility for cleaning and improving the space.
Under Project KHEL, the Foundation carried out cleanliness activities across the school premises and transformed the available area into a usable playground for students. The initiative aims to provide children studying in government schools with better opportunities for outdoor play, recreation and healthy development.
Foundation founder Engineer Amit Tiwari, Dr. Archana Sharma, Shivam Sharma, Akshay Gurjar and other volunteers were present during the activity and contributed to the implementation of the project.
Dr. Archana Sharma highlighted that a lack of sports and outdoor activities can affect the physical and mental development of children. Project KHEL therefore focuses on creating opportunities for students to participate in play and physical activities that contribute to their overall growth.
On the occasion, the school principal expressed appreciation for the initiative and thanked Amit Tiwari and the Ridipta Welfare Foundation team for their contribution towards improving the school environment and creating a dedicated play space for the students.
