Ridipta Welfare Foundation Launches Project Khel for Government School Children

Ridipta Welfare Foundation launched Project Khel with the objective of promoting outdoor activities and supporting the overall development of children studying in government schools. The initiative recognizes that outdoor play is important for the physical, mental and social development of children, while many government schools face limitations in playground facilities and resources. Under Project Khel, small and creative playgrounds are being developed in government schools using reusable and otherwise unused materials such as old tyres, drums and ropes. The initiative aims to provide children with a safe and engaging space where they can participate in outdoor activities and enjoy opportunities for physical development. As part of the initiative, a playground was developed at Rajkiya Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Mansarovar, Jaipur. The project demonstrates how simple and reusable materials can be transformed into useful play facilities for school children. Foundation members including Amit Tiwari, Dr. Archana Sharma, Shivam Sharma and Akshay Gurjar, along with other volunteers, were present during the programme. Dr. Archana Sharma stated that the Foundation aims to develop similar playground facilities in government schools across Rajasthan so that children studying in these schools can also receive equal opportunities for their overall growth and development.
